Unlike what the name implies, these are not chocolate, but they are a fantastic, easy breakfast dish that is simple to throw together and easy to reheat. My family loves these and I bet yours will too.
Ingredients
- 10 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup flour
- dash of salt
- 1- 7 ounce can of chopped green chilis
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 pound (=16 ounces=2 cups) of shredded monterey jack cheese (or cheddar or swiss or a mixture)
- 1/2 stick of melted butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9″x12″ or 9″x11″ pan.
Combine eggs, flour and salt. Pour in butter and add the rest of ingredients. Mix well.
Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Lower temp to 350 degrees and continue cooking for 35 minutes.
