Hello there! I am coming back from a hiatus energized and ready to make some beautiful food with you, my friends! This marinade has been one of my favorites from growing up. NOTHING is better on a flank steak! But it can make a london broil sing soprano and make a chicken dish do the funky chicken (in the best way possible). So grab a large stasher bag or ziploc and prepare some magic! It is best if you marinade it overnight or a minimum of 8 hours (if you reach a maximum of 24 hours, just pour out the marinade and cook it whenever you are ready). Tag me if you make it!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy or low sodium soy
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup white wine (any varietal)
Instructions
- Mix all together and pour over meat in a plastic bag or container. Move the meat around multiple times to make sure the marinade gets all over. Marinade in the ‘fridge overnight (minimum of 8 hours, maximum of 24 hours). Discard marinade. Grill or broil the meat until desired level of doneness.
