As the days heat up, no one wants to spend more time in the kitchen than necessary. This recipe is so quick and easy, it is impressive enough to serve to company but fast enough to have on the table in 15 minutes or less! Trader Joe’s practically makes this dish for you. And if you do not have a Trader Joe’s near you, you can 100% substitute easily with like products.
Ingredients
- 1 Bag of Trader Joe’s Chicken Gyoza Potstickers or Thai Shrimp Gyoza or Thai Vegetable Gyoza
- 1-2 tablespoons avocado or olive oil
- 1 container of Trader Joe’s Mirepoix OR 1 small-medium onion, diced + 2 stalks of celery, diced + 1-2 carrots, diced
- 4 tablespoons Trader Joe’s Soyaki sauce
- 2-4 cups Chicken Bone Broth
- 2-4 tablespoons Trader Joe’s Chili Onion Crunch
Instructions
- Lightly fry the potstickers over medium-high heat in olive oil or avocado oil on both sides for 7-10 minutes.
- While those are cooking, saute mirepoix or chopped vegetables with olive oil until tender, about 3 minutes.
- Add broth to vegetables and bring to slow simmer.
- Add Soyaki Sauce & potstickers to vegetables and broth and cook for a few minutes until cooked through.
- Ladle soup into bowls and top with a spoonful of Chili Onion Crunch and a splash of Soyaki if you desire. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can use Chicken Broth instead of Chicken Bone broth. I just like the additional protein it adds to the dish.
- You can substitute soy sauce for Soyaki.
